Kueh Kosui

Ingredients A(mixed) 
100g tapioca flour 
180g rice flour 
450ml water 
1 tsp alkaline water(lye water or lye sui as it is commonly called) 
Ingredients B(boiled) 
250g gula Melaka(palm sugar) 
540ml water 
2 pandan leaves knotted 
Ingredients C(steamed for 10 mins) 
100g grated white coconut 
1/2 tsp salt 
Method: 
1.Combine all of Ingredients A and mixed well. 
2.Add B into A mixture and strain. 
3.Use low heat to cook the mixture until slightly thick. 
4.Pour into a steaming tray. 
5.steam over high heat for 40 mins until cooked. 
6.Leave it out to cool complelely before slicing. 
7.Cut into smaller squares and coat with grated coconut.
