Ingredients:
150g Hong kong flour or cake flour
3g baking powder
20g milk powder
3g baking soda
210g eggs (about 4 eggs)
120g brown sugar
25ml milk
55g corn oil
Method:
1.Sieve flour, baking powder, milk powder and baking soda.
2.Stir egg till well mix, add brown sugar and stir till sugar dissolve, add milk and corn oil and mix till well combined.
3.Add flour mixture bit by bit into egg mixture and stir non-stop till well combined. Pour mixture into lined cake tin.
4.Steam at high heat for 10min, then continue steaming at low heat for another 25min.

Ma Lai Ko
(A) Whisk together:
200 g brown sugar( not those orange type, hor! )
5 egg yolks
2 tsp vanilla essence
1/4 tsp salt
B)
250 ml coconut cream from 1 grated coconut( or from tinned Ayam Brand )
(C) - Sift together:
250 g self-raising flour
70 g corn flour
(D) Whisk till stiff but not dry: 5 egg whites
Method:
- Gently incorporate (C) into (A) followed by (B). Fold in (D).
- Dump the batter into a well greased tin and steam vigourously for 30 mins. Test with a skewer for doneness.
- Cool and cut.
